To Whom it May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this recommendation for Magic Jeanne. I am the Director of Volunteer at Lytton
Gardens, a non-profit senior community on the San Francisco Peninsula that
provides independent housing, assisted living, quality skilled nursing health
care and social services for low-income seniors.
Volunteers play an important role in combating
the isolation and depression that can overwhelm seniors as they age. Each year, we work with over a thousand volunteers
who provide friendship, entertainment, and intellectual stimulation for our
seniors. It is in this context that
I say that Magic Jeanne truly stands out as a volunteer for her energy and
infectious enthusiasm.
Magic Jeanne and I corresponded for several months
trying to coordinate a time for her to entertain our seniors. She was always professional in her emails, but
her warmth and joy definitely came across as well. The moment Magic stepped on our campus, she
brought life to Lytton. She was exceptionally
enthusiastic in inviting seniors to watch her show, and made everyone feel
very welcome. She is clearly very comfortable
with the senior population, even those in wheelchairs.
She was very gracious with people exhibiting signs of dementia.
Magic Jeanne brought a lively magic show to Lytton
Gardens and our residents were very appreciative of the entertainment. They each had a favorite magic trick and can’t
wait to have her return.
We appreciate Magic Jeanne’s dedication
to making a difference in our community and believe that she would be an extraordinary
asset to any program.
Sincerely yours,
Alisa Tantraphol
